As this site has come together, one of the things that is apparent is that we need more cool listings. We need more garages and we need more auto enthusiast oriented properties. That is why people search real estate sites.
So, we say "Give the people what they want!" And they want more listings. They want dream homes. They want entry level homes. They want mid-priced homes. And they want to be able to find the homes that are relevant to them...
without having to wade through hundreds of homes with no pictures of the garage, or homes that say they have a 6 car garage, but what they really mean is 6 go-karts... stacked on their sides.
We rolled out a free Property Search last year, and we are going to be upgrading that to provide an even better interface. But, no matter what... Garages are why consumers are here!
So, the bottom line...
We want to provide some cool listings for consumers to peruse. To do that, we will let you post up your listings with cool garages for free. If you are an unrepresented seller, we will post your listing up as well. We want pictures, we want listing information and we support video. Virtual tours, interactive design tools... whatever.
There are a couple of limitations... Not onerous, just basic.
- We NEED pictures. No properties without pictures. 800x600 (or 600x800) is the best size. You can host them on Flickr, or we can load them here. In either case, there are gallery solutions so that the number of pictures can be practically unlimited.
- You have to be willing to cooperate with selling agents. If you are FSBO or an agent, be ready, willing and able to work with an agent on the buyer's side.
- Instead of a list of features, we would prefer something more like ad copy. Tell a story. Tell a buyer why THIS is THE house they want to own.
- If the property is represented, the listing agent will get a mention... but please don't try to cover the property ad with agent ads. This is about the property.
- Please let us know when the property is sold, expires, withdrawn or is no longer available.
If it can be embedded, we are willing to give it a rip. YouTube videos (or other sites with a better looking output, like WellcomeMat), GoogleMaps, SlideShare, MagToo panoramas, embeddable virtual tours... We'll try to put it in for you.
And those properties can be ANYWHERE in the US. California. Florida. Georgia. ANYWHERE. We get visitors from all over the US and around the world. Most of our visitors are from Georgia, and most of those are from the Atlanta area, but we'll take cool garages from anywhere.
